This is a very interesting piece. I like how his eyes have a sort of draconic/otherworldly look, especially the pupils, although it's kind of hard to see in the right (viewer's right) eye on my monitor. The folds in the jacket and shirt came out great, and the limited colours on the eye and fire creates an intriguing mood to the piece. I'd like to see more detail on his necklace, although i suppose it might be hard to achieve that without drawing attention away from the focus of the piece.

Sorry, i took Hebrew in college, and i've forgotten everything from high school French. I'll have some names for you in a few hours, though.

Wow. First of all, I'm very thankful you think that about this. As for the specific features you mentioned, I feel you were pretty much stop on. The necklace, as it so happens, is a pentagram (right side up), but it wasn't really supposed to be a point of focus.

Aww, really? French is actually the language I'm fishing around for. I don't know much about the language, as I've never taken any French lessons, so online translators can only take me so far, especially in the way of grammar.

Why, thank you. I gotta say, I was so frustrated while trying to make that fire! I just don't know what fire is like. Do you have any tips for me? I mean, do you ever illustrate flame? Because its hard to show something that isn't physically solid, you know what I mean?

But I always try to use a orangey gold color as the base color the lighten it from there.
